• SAP System Administration:
• Manage and maintain SAP systems, including installation, configuration, and upgrades.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to optimize SAP landscapes.

• User and Security Administration:
• Administer user accounts, authorizations, and profiles to ensure secure and controlled access to SAP systems.
• Implement and maintain security policies and procedures for SAP environments.

• Database Management:
• Perform database administration tasks, including backup and recovery, performance tuning, and capacity planning.
• Collaborate with database administrators to ensure the integrity and reliability of SAP databases.

• Transport Management:
• Handle the transport management system (TMS) for SAP, including the creation and management of transport requests.
• Coordinate and execute system transports between development, quality, and production environments.

• System Monitoring and Maintenance:
• Set up and maintain system monitoring tools to proactively identify and resolve issues.
• Conduct regular system health checks and implement preventive maintenance activities.

• Patch Management and Upgrades:
• Plan and execute SAP software patches, updates, and version upgrades.
• Stay informed about the latest SAP releases and recommend upgrades as needed.

• Documentation:
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of SAP system configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Provide training and documentation for end-users as needed.

• Collaboration and Support:
• Collaborate with other IT teams and business units to understand and address SAP-related requirements.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users and other IT teams.

• Multinational company |You will work in an office located in the center of Barcelona
• Bachelor´s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an SAP Basis Administrator or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of SAP system architecture, installation, and configuration.
• Proficient in SAP security concepts and user administration.
• Experience with SAP HANA database administration is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• SAP certification is desirable.
