Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Django Developer with a minimum of 5 years of experience, specifically in a SaaS product company. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in building complex, scalable software systems. We are not looking for candidates who have only worked on website or CMS development.

Responsibilities:
-Develop and maintain advanced SaaS product using Django.
-Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand and transform business requirements into scalable solutions.
-Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, ensuring top-quality output.
-Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
-Provide technical leadership and mentor junior team members.
-Ensure security and privacy compliance in all aspects of development.

Qualifications:
-5+ years of professional experience in Django development.
-Deep knowledge of Django ORM and a good understanding of database architecture principles.
-Strong proficiency in developing REST APIs.
-Solid experience in writing unit and integration tests.
Familiarity with front-end technologies like JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
Proven track record of working in a SaaS product company, demonstrating an ability to handle complex logic and data structures.
Experience with cloud services and database technologies.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and a commitment to writing clean, maintainable,

Good to Have:
Experience with multi-tenancy.
Experience with server side technologies like Celery, Elasticsearch, Redis, Docker, and AWS services (RDS, EC2, S3, Route53, Cloudfront).

Probationary Period:
The initial period of one month will be probationary, during which we will assess the candidate’s fitment for the role. Depending on the circumstances, we may require the candidate to start working via Upwork for the first 1-2 months.

Hiring Process:
Our standard hiring process is designed to ensure a comprehensive evaluation of each candidate’s skills and potential fit with our team. It includes the following stages:

-Online Aptitude Test: Approximately 1 hour, assessing problem-solving and technical skills.
-Code Assignment: Candidates will be given a coding task that typically requires around 2 days to complete. -We offer up to 1 week for completion to accommodate different schedules.
-Interview with the CTO: A technical interview to discuss the candidate’s technical expertise, experience, and the code assignment.
-Interview with the CEO: A final interview to assess cultural fit and alignment with our company’s values and goals.
-Candidates will be evaluated at each stage to ensure they meet the high standards required for the role.
