Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a team of internal and 3rd party architects; management of capacity, expertise and distribution of work
• Direct management and development of internal architects; supplier management of 3rd party architects
• Analyse and shape business requirements, processes, and problems related to Customer Connect
• Develop, and manage the development of, HLSAs, Solution Architectures and Integration Designs for CC
• Manage the development of High Level Designs and Low Level Designs
• Define, and manage the definition of, Work Packages to deliver solutions and the transition into the CC Roadmap, Jira, Product Development Plan & Backlog, and other plans and backlogs as necessary
• Support for the implementation of solution architecture and designs with clarity, advice and change management
• Manage and advise on architecture and design decisions and approvals for Customer Connect
• Identify, manage and drive action to address architecture and design risks, issues, and technical debt
• Assess, and manage the assessment of trends, products, roadmaps, plans and proposals for impact, risk and opportunities for CC, and influence them for the benefit of Customer Connect and PageGroup
• Communication and maintenance of knowledge and documentation on the end-to-end CC architecture and designs
• Contribution to the wider PageGroup strategies, architecture, policies, plans and NFRs
• Active participation in the Page Architecture Team to maximise alignment, consistency and reuse across PageGroup
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the delivery process and tools together with the CC delivery management team

• Management of Technical Debt Backlog
• End-to-end Architecture & Design Materials
• Architectual Strategies, Principles, Standards, Guidance, Patterns & Frameworks
• Contributions to the PageGroup IT Strategy & Enterprise Architecture

Performance against the role is measured by the quality and timeliness of the personal and team deliverables; the ultimate outcomes desired are that:

• PageGroup architecture and design documentation remain current, consistent and correct


Authority/Decision Making:
• Member of the Delivery Management team within Business Technology
• Member of Architecture Decision Forum
• Inputs to CC operating budget based on end-to-end architecture change
• Inputs to CC delivery budget based on required capacity and tooling to deliver change

Skills/Experience:

Key skills and experience required are:
• Work in a similar Lead Solution Architect role for 5+ years desirable
• Team, line & supplier management
• Strong understanding of IT industry trends and methodologies
• Prior experience of working with a complex Salesforce implementation or programme
• Experience of working in a multi-vendor IT sourcing environmen
• Experience working at global level, on global systems
• Work in multiple roles at all phases of Software Development Lifecycle
• Prior experience with Kanban and Agile development methodology
• Prior experience with Jira and in CI/CD environments
