Tasks

- Be embedded into the functional domain, balancing business requirements with functional & technical strategy to ensure we deliver sustainable solutions.

- Producing functional architecture for projects.

- Reviewing the designs that have been produced by engineering teams using guidance and patterns that have been provided to them by architecture.

- Validating that solutions align to the strategies of Santander UK and Group.

- Working with the engineering community to deliver solutions.

Requirements

- +5 years of experience on the field

- Experience of corporate banking: such as cash management and payments, or trade financeK

- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

- Experience of architecture design.

- Proven experience in defining and documenting pragmatic architectures that balance business requirements with functional and technical strategy to deliver sustainable solutions.

- Experience working with stakeholders to help define and deliver strategic objectives and roadmaps.

- Passionate about driving and leading change by creating practical, workable architectures aligned to IT principles and following appropriate governance.

- Knowledge of planning and organizing concepts and best practices with the ability to manage multiple projects, being flexible with a ´can do´ attitude with a strong sense of initiative with the ability to learn fast

Nice to have skills:

- Working knowledge of the BIAN framework, TOGAF, ArchiMate and the C4 model.

- Experience of using architecture tools such as Avolution Abacus.

- Knowledge & experience of AWS & Cloud Architectures.

- Knowledge & experience of APIs and microservices
