You will:
• Act in a senior capacity within the Process Engineering department.
• Be the lead responsible process engineer for a project.
• Represent the company at vendor and subcontractor meetings.
• Maintain the required technical quality of work.
• Maintain planning and cost control on process scope of works.
• Ensure that designs comply with the relevant Codes, Standards, Regulations and Procedures.
• Liaise with sub-contractors and vendors to develop, deliver and troubleshoot solutions for the on-going projects.
• Liaise with project management and discipline engineering teams to deliver new projects support commissioning and operations team remotely and on-site.
• Ensure adherence to management of change and ensure design documentation are kept up-to-date for both new and existing projects.

Person Specification:
• Fluency in written and oral English
• Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical) or equivalent
• Chartered (highly desirable) or associate member with the Institute of Chemical Engineers.
• The role would suit a candidate with at least ten years working experience, with at least five of those years designing onshore oil and gas, refining or petrochemical facilities. Any onsite construction, commissioning or operational experience would be beneficial.
• Working knowledge of Hazard Studies and LOPA Pressure relief standards, hazardous area classification and control of major hazards required as a minimum.
• Experience with using API, ANSI and ISO standards to design and specify process equipment.
• User of Aspen HYSYS.
• Understanding of thermodynamics, heat transfer, fluid dynamics and distillation principles.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Enthusiasm and aptitude to be part of a growing team.
• The ability to progress with several different tasks simultaneously and deliver to schedule.
• An effective communicator with an excellent standard of oral and written English.
• Sense of adventure, drive and a self-motivator.
• Background and/or interest in alternative energy technology.
• Ability to travel if required.
