• Lead the design, development, documentation and implementation of network solutions to ensure optimal system performance and access in a 24x7.
• Providing environmental design and layout criteria for network facilities, cabling infrastructure, equipment, and other devices.
• Developing technical requirements and testing plans to evaluate vendor products, services, proposals, and bids
• Developing and maintaining regular plans to support vendor releases for network hardware, operating systems, and software.
• Ensuring adequate network services, capacity, and availability (e.g., bandwidth, switch ports, cables, and connectivity).
• Developing and maintaining documentation of current configurations including the baseline templates and optimal configurations and generating regular change reports.
• Developing, implementing, and monitoring network performance measures and reports and troubleshooting performance problems.
• Installing, configuring, and managing network devices, security appliances, and maintaining document appropriate access procedures.
• Recommending and implementing counteractive security measures proactively, and in response to incidents
• Responding to incidents providing root cause analysis.
• Providing support for telephony, including IP phones and integrated communications.
• Provide training/knowledge transfer to the network team.
• Lead, guide and encourage the team.

• Internataional company.|Located in Barcelona.
• An in-depth technical understanding of IT Network topologies.
• Considerable experience designing, developing, and implementing network solutions.
• Good knowledge of Cisco VRF lite, BGP and OSPF.
• Knowledge of Cisco ACI and Cisco ISE.
• Good knowledge of NG-Firewall configurations, Fortinet is a plus.
• Good troubleshooting methodology.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Organization skills to coordinate vendors or projects with other departments.
• English and Spanish mandatory.
