POSITION PROFILE

We are seeking a strong candidate, passionate for data science and with proven advanced analytics experience, to fill an exciting Sr/Lead Data Scientist position. The Sr/Lead Data Scientist is a valuable expert in the field and will be responsible of designing and building analytics methodologies, solutions, and products to deliver value to clients.

You´ll have the chance to roll up your sleeves and apply data science methods and analytics to real-world business situations, focused on the Energy sector, collaborating directly with clients and wider case teams and managing the analytics components of client deliverables. Successful candidates are intellectually curious builders who are biased toward action, scrappy, and communicative.

The Sr/Lead Data Scientist is also expected to provide mentoring, coaching, and career development to analytics associate and data scientist team members on both a formal and informal basis.
• Multinational Company|Sr Data Scientist (Excellence in Python)

The Sr/Lead Data Scientist will have:
• 5+ up to 15 years of relevant industry work experience providing advanced analytics solutions
• Master´s or Advanced degree with excellent academic achievements in a field linked to computer science, applied mathematics, statistics, machine learning, or related data centric areas
• Deep technical and data science expertise, strong passion for data science topics
• Proven experience in developing software or apps, having developed solutions end-to-end: requirements, implementation, and deployment
• Experience in code design, modelling the solution and making it scalable
• Excellence in Python and experience working with other programming languages
• Recommended experience developing in Cloud: Azure, Amazon, container, etc.
• Recommended international experience
• Recommended professional experience in the O&G sector or academic background, degree or master, in chemical engineering or O&G related fields
• Fluency in English and local office language is required

• Very familiar with core analytics methods, tools and applied analytics for business problem solving
• Demonstrate ability to manage engagements, client relationships, provide "thought leadership" to teams and able to act as a full member of a project team.
