We are looking for a Hardware Security Expert (Cybersecurity Evaluator) with penetration testing experience to join a company, that serve leading-edge tech companies around the world to develop high technological and secure products, with HQ in Bellaterra (Barcelona).


The ideal candidate should be someone with experience in security on secure elements or hardware security modules.


Your role




- Analyze and assess the security of Secure Elements (SEs) and similar devices.
- Apply state-of-the-art pentesting techniques to find exploitable vulnerabilities in the products under evaluation.
- Improve attack techniques to increase the effectiveness of the attacks.
- Support our clients understanding the results of your security assessment/evaluation.
- Be up-to-date on the new cutting edge techniques in the pentesting area.
- Support, guide and advice the team on technical aspects to pentesting techniques where you may be the expert of.
- Report evaluation activities.



Requirements




- Experience of 3+ years in cybersecurity and pentesting actitivies, especially in Secure Element products and/or smart card and similar devices.
- Knowledge and experience on attacking JavaCard/Multos/Native technologies of SE and its architecture.
- Knowledge and experience on attack techniques such as DPA/CPA, SPA, profiling/template and deep learning analysis.
- Knowledge and experience on attack techniques such as glitches, EM-FI, laser¡



And in addition:




- Knowledge on analog/digital signal processing.
- Hardware engineering, electronics, telecommunications, computer science or similar background/education.
- Good English level (written and spoken), any other language is a plus.
- Proactive team player.
- Organized, methodical and structured thinking.
- Customer orientation and people skills.
- Availability to travel.
