Position
We are looking for a business minded Sales Manager that can within 1 year grow to Chief Commercial Officer and within 2-3 years to company CEO position. The selected person will be in charge of the commercial team in Barcelona.
Your new role
• Research of AS-IS situation in sales of the company and using the data to forecast sales, set performance goals and set operating budgets.
• Participate together with stake holders in the planning of Company´s new/updated business strategy.
• Devising and implementing new business initiatives and sales tactics and monitoring their budgets and effectiveness.
• Develop and track metrics and success criteria for all marketing programs and activities.
• Developing, evaluating and optimizing marketing and pricing strategies.
• Ensuring effective training programs for sales representatives, assigning trained sales representatives to various account types/territories etc. and setting their sales goals, revenue targets, and key performance indicators.
• Overseeing the company´s sales growth by evaluating sales reports and capitalizing on particular products or services.
• Manage the overall sales process and sets appropriate metrics for sales funnel management.
• Meeting with sales managers to set and assess sales team´s individual and overall performance.
• Developing your sales team through motivation, coaching, and product knowledge education.
• Increasing the efficiency of business procedures by meeting with operational and supporting departments.
• Presenting the company´s products and services at conferences and events.
• Monitoring the sales activities of competitors and utilizing appropriate ideas.
• Securing large accounts and negotiating contract agreements with customers.
• Understand customer behavior and how they relate to company products.
• Proactively aiming to provide contribution to the company as a whole.
What you´ll need to succeed
• A bachelor´s degree in marketing, business administration, or related field.
• 5 or more years experience in sales.
• The ability to meet or exceed targets and goals.
• The willingness to undergo training to become familiar with the company´s products and services.
• Strong leadership, managerial, and organizational skills.
• Good communication, presentation, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• The ability to create and maintain good relationships with customers.
• Strong negotiating and sales skills.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
