Sales Development Representative

Smartvel is a spanish startup that uses artificial intelligence with big data and machine learning techniques to collect, classify, monitor, enrich, translate and efficiently geolocate all the events taking place at any destination in the world.

We are looking for a competitive, positive, bright, forward-thinking and high-spirited Sales Development Representative to join our Commercial team, playing a key role for the company’s success.


Identification of new prospects (potential customers) and business opportunities.
Qualify these prospects and contact them via cold emailing/calling and Linkedin in order to arrange meetings for the sales executives.
Work closely with the Marketing and Sales partners to implement sales strategists and define targets.
Use Hubspot CRM to manage leads, monitor KPI’s, register activities and organise workload (training will be provided).
Support the Global Sales Network with the creation of new useful material, commercial presentations, monthly newsletter, Sales Intranet’s, etc.
Collaborate with the Global Partnerships Manager in the growth of the international sales network.
Meet/exceed predefined sales development objectives.

Fluent English / Spanish, spoken and written,(any additional languages are definitely a plus).
You have outstanding written / verbal communication and selling skills (in English and Spanish).
Open-minded, you enjoy working on an international environment.
Resilience, you have a commercial nature, enjoy selling and feel comfortable with phone calls.
Some commercial or customer service experience is desirable but not mandatory.
Ability to take the initiative and work autonomously, while being a true team-player.
Enthusiastic, organised and with time-management skills.
Ability to multitask, prioritise and manage time effectively.
Proven success in achieving goals and willing to work on an objective-driven basis.
Tech savvy, you are interested in startups, innovation and the latest technologies.

Gross salary: 18.000 - 21.000€ + bonus per year.
Your enthusiasm, attitude, communication skills and willingness to learn are more important than your specific experience. You will receive a full training package during the first weeks with us.
