As a QA Engineer you will be key to define and execute the Test Strategy for a range of projects and new features in our release pipeline using Agile Techniques. You’ll work with the team to make sure our products live up to our quality standards and will collaborate closely with both QA Engineers and QA Lead at every stage of the project.
You’ll be part of a super-motivated Software Development Team that strives to continuously improve their processes and that is eager to innovate and try new approaches to software delivery. All key skillsets are represented in the team, including technical leadership, development, architecture, QA, and product functions. Your will work closely with all of them to contribute to our success.
What you’ll do
Review design artifacts for testability
Design high value test cases for the various stages of the software development lifecycle
Carry out tests and record the results according to standards
Log defects in detail and liaise with the product function to present impact and severity
Work with the team to optimize and improve our Testing Strategies continuously
What you’ll bring
Hands-on testing experience within web development
Relevant degree such as Computer Science or Information Systems
Good communication skills, concise and precise, both in writing and in person
Problem Solving Attitude without needing lots of supervision
Ability to work against deadlines pitching in with your colleagues
If you’ve used Jira or similar defect tracking tools, designed test cases using tools like Quality Center, worked with Agile methodologies and are ISEB-ISTQB qualified, even better.
