Requirements

• BSc degree in Computer Science, Engineering, and/or professional experience as IT Project Manager, Software Engineer, Software Developer or similar.
• Knowledge and ability to outline requirements, specifications. and determine operational feasibility.
• High degree of analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming language for the web, preferable PHP7.
• Knowledge of relational databases, preferable MySQL
• Knowledge of front-end development being CSS and JavaScript an asset.
• Knowledge of PHP Framework – Symfony is an asset.

Tasks and Responsibilities
• Facilitate process workflow modelling (within and across all departments) in order to collaborate on process improvements, automation capabilities and clearly defined end-to-end use cases.
• Translate business requirements into technical designs.
• Execute full software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Develop software verification plans and quality assurance procedures including carrying out regular audits.
• Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems.
• Design, develop, implement and coordinate IT policies and related procedures for the organisation.
• Identifying and acting on opportunities to improve and update software and systems.
• Overseeing and determining timeframes for major IT projects including system updates, upgrades, migrations and outages.
• Any other task as requested by management.
