WHAT WE LOOK FOR

We are looking for a talented Network Support Engineer to join our team in Barcelona for the EGS Team. Your main responsibility will be to provide outstanding technical support for the most prestigious Google G Suite customers. This support will be mainly focused on troubleshooting Google’s RTC platform (Chat, Meet, CloudPrint) and customer environment.

Minimum requirements:

100% fluent in English (minimum C1)
European citizenship or work permit in Spain
Solid knowledge about Windows and Linux system administration
Deep understanding about web protocols (HTTP, DNS, SSL/TLS, etc)
Deep understanding of networking standards
Deep understanding of TCP/IP and UDP/IP including difference between private and public IPs and IPv4 vs IPv6.
Understanding of VoIP (SIP, XMPP, RTP)
Ability to read and understand packet and application layer captures.
Ability to research using internal knowledge bases and public facing documentation (official Google docs, StackOverflow, Google Groups...)
Understanding of DNS: Common record types, protocols used, recursive domain name resolution
Familiarity with modern API technologies (OAuth, RESTful APIs, gRPC)

Desirable skills:
Knowledge about the OSI stack
Understanding about SSO including the ability to identify Service Provider and Identity Provider
Basic coding abilities in at least one of the following languages: Java, Python
Powershell or Bash scripting
Experience with existing VoIP platform/solutions


WHAT YOU WILL GET

Permanent contract
Full time position (39 hours / week)
Working hours: Monday-Friday 9am-6pm
Salary package: 30.040€ gross/year (25.000 as base salary + 3.000 as bonus + 1.540 ticket restaurant + Private Medical Insurance of approximate market value around €500 per year)
Salary package improvement after one year.
