We are looking for an IT Technitian to be in charge of provision of technical solutions throughout the life cycle of a technical service / project whilst assisting employees to overcome any technical issues in all technical areas.
Provide technical feedback and impact assessments to internal teams and other departments involved in setting up technical standards and/or documentation.

Monitor and maintain the computer systems and networks of an organization.
Serve as the second point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance. Provides support to users via escalated Tier 1 Incidents.

Tasks and responsibilities:

- Perform troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions.
- Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
- Be the local support, talk staff or clients specially as the face-to-face to help set up systems or resolve issues
- Determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided by customers
- Walk the customer through the problem-solving process
- Tracking, routing and redirecting problems to correct resources. Properly escalating unresolved queries to the next level of support
- Provide accurate information on IT products or services
- Follow-up and update customer status and information
- Identify and suggest possible improvements on procedures or infrastructure.
- Ensure proper recording, documentation and closure, including procedural documentation and relevant reports
- Identify Problems, incidence management and coordination.
- Verify resolution with end-users and resolve assigned Incidents
- Escalate Major Incidents to the Incident and/or Problem Manager
- Escalate unresolved Incidents to Tier 3: Escalate Incidents at risk of breaching Service Level Agreement/Operational Level Agreement to the Incident Process Coordinator
- Test and evaluate new technology
- Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary
- Possibly training more junior staff members

Technical Knowledge:

- Knowledge of basic computer hardware.
- Experience with desktop operating systems
- Extensive application support experience.
- Working knowledge of a range of diagnostic utilities.
- Good understanding of the organization´s goals and objectives.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on rapport-building, listening, and questioning skills.
- Strong documentation skills.
