IT System Engineer - Barcelona

The mission of the IT Systems Engineer is to contribute to the company´s business, operations and growth ambitions providing best-in-class services, delivering innovative solutions, and ensuring we operate in a safe and secured IT environment. The IT System Engineer will have the responsibility to hold IT responsibilities for all offices WW and the Datacentre. He will also be involved in solving Level 3 system tickets, participating in the project and writing the corresponding procedures for complex tickets.

What will you do¡


- Check and maintain servers, ensure antivirus is up-to-date (especially for Microsoft Exchange).
- Keep ticket backlog up-to-date, guaranteeing that all support performed is recorded.
- Define procedures on new projects that will be exploited at group level.
- Administrate Microsoft Exchange and Office 365.
- Administrate VoIP, conferencing tool.
- Manage System Center for Windows Servers.
- Supervise the Corporate Active Directory (users and computers, group policies).
- Setting up and administration of Hyper-V environments.
- Manage system monitoring tools (Ex: PRTG, Nexthink).
- Administration of certificates in the infrastructures.
- Ensure implementation of Datacentre as backup, monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Deploy and administrate WEB servers, rollout to production of WEB applications.
- Build capacity for Level 2 support team.
- Offer technical oversight and remote support to Level 2 support team and external consultants.
- Document thoroughly operation repairs and enhancements performed on systems.
- Rollout new IT infrastructure in the region: on site interventions for critical installation and deployments.
- Perform a technical study and IT integration in case of acquisitions.

Qualification & Experience...


- Minimum of 5 years sound professional experience of Systems Administrator for Windows 2008 R2
- and above, Exchange 2010 server and above, Windows domain servers, Windows DNS servers,
- Active Directory, WINS, DHCP, Windows 7 and above, Web Servers, System Center, Lync / Skype
- for Business, Scripting, Virtualization, Backup / Restore, Terminal Services (Remote Desktop /
- Applications), Certificates, Azure, IaaS.
- Microsoft Certified Professional
- University Degree
- ITIL Foundation
