Leading multinational company - end client - is looking for an IT Support Technical Lead with experience in Abap & PI & Basis for their office in Madrid.
Why is this position needed? New IT Applications Support model organization and new support applications partner to provide the support services. The position is needed to control the support activity on the technical and platform areas, the services provided by our third-party partner are under the established SLA´s, to guarantee the appropriate coordination with other IT areas specially with the projects integration and to be the support contact with business in case technical/platform issues.
Responsible for the supervision of the services provided by our Support Application Provider in the platform and technical areas.
SLA´s keeper for Platform and Technical Areas
High Level escalation point (business or IT matters)
Business IT processes keepers - Core Model´s custodian
Support scope management and evolution
Transition to support - sign off for technical and platform areas
Responsible of the accomplishment of audit requirements
Understand the internal change and release management process. Ensure the coordination among other support teams to minimize the risk of disruption on business activities
Work in coordination with platform and technical projects leads to understand support activity needed for implementation and any extra support requirement needed after Go Live that may have an impact in the current support area
Share demand and upcoming projects with support team (dispatchers & service coordination)
Schedule Regression Testing Activities, Review testing scenarios, Regression testing coordination within IT and business, coordination with third parties in case needed

Qualifications & Experience:
Education: Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
Certifications: Certifications related with SAP development, SAP PI or SAP Basis are a plus
Years of experience- 5+ years of experience in SAP development / 3+ years of experience in SAP PI or 5+ years in SAP Basis / 4+ years of experience Readsoft
Level of experience:
Technical Application Experience: Demonstrable technical competency on technical solutions that include: SAP Environments, Readsoft, Tableau, Hana, Oracle, MaxDB, Sybase ASE, Linux/Unix, Windows, High Availability, and Disaster Recovery. Demonstrable technical competency on developing solutions that include: ABAP, Adobe, Fiori, Readsoft, Tableau, Java, PI/PO, FTP and Middleware´s
Vendor Management : Capabilities working with a multicultural team with a high number of offshore resources. Experience in reporting and tracking SLA´s and prioritize/understand/approve the demand received by the third party support group lead by him
Strong oral and written communication skills, including ability to develop and present initiatives or proposals to audiences that include business power users, Business or IT leads¡ etc. Industry experience- Experience managing / working with off shore teams is needs.
