Leading company in the tourism sector  who are a  provider of services to the global travel trade with key positions in some of the fastest growing segments in the industry, based in Palma, Mallorca, are looking for IT Project Manager  to join our fun and committed team.


Job Responsibilities: 

Project manager ensures the project is completed on time and within budget, that the project´s objectives are met and that everyone else is doing their job properly, conducting and controlling the project on a day-to-day basis. 
Project Manager is overall accountable that all processes are followed, deliverables are created and resources (human / financial) committed to the project are managed. 
Ensuring that the project objectives are met and that the project delivers successfully • Leading the project team and external suppliers.
Direction and control of planning, controlling and monitoring in support of the project’s objectives.
Ensuring the optimal use of resources to deliver the project’s objectives • Optimizing the balance of time, cost and quality to meet the project’s objectives.
Building and sustaining relationships/partnerships with project team / suppliers.
The management of risk through identifying, monitoring and responding to risks
Management of change control and its impact upon the business case and baseline plan
Ensure timely and appropriate communications to stakeholders. 
Acting as a point of escalation for project team. 
This role understands basic revenue models, P/L and cost to completion projections and makes decisions accordingly and develops accurately forecasts revenue, profitability, margins, bill rates and utilization.
Makes sure the project is running on time and to budget and delivers the expected outcomes and benefits.


Highly appreciated experience in projects focused on: 


Business Infrastructure: Cloud computing (AWS, Oracle, Azure), Virtualization (VMWare, Hyper-V), Networking, Communications, Datacenter operation, Hardware, Security, Backups, Monitoring, Continuous Delivery, SDLC, Q&A. - Corporate Services/Infrastructure: Office 365, Windows, Active Directory, SCCM, Corporate content sharing tools (SharePoint, Dropbox, File Servers…), Telephony (Avaya, Mitel, Cisco), Service Desk/End-user support processes, ITIL, User Provisioning, Identity Management, Physical Security. - Companies Integration/Merge: International environments merging multiple companies. 





Essential Professional and Personal Attributes 



Very good educational background, preferably in the fields of computer science or engineering.
Proven working experience in project management in the information technology sector 
Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies.
Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
PMP certification is a plus • Knowledge of (not expertise in) Togaf, Six Sigma, Agile
