Descripción

The Global 1st Line Support team member provides IT support services to end-users in all KONGSBERG sites world-wide. The Role includes supporting end-users onsite (which might imply travel), per phone and solving incidents by following established processes, procedures and service management tools.

Responsibilities:
· KSOC service (IT Support telephone, IT Service Management system inbox console, monitor the systems and world-wide infrastructure using WUG/SCOM) according to a predefined rotation plan/schedule
· Provide 1st level user support remotely and in person
· Participate in weekend and holiday rotation
· Register and solve incidents and requests in the IT Service Management system
· Escalate critical or major incidents in accordance with Incident Management Process
· Escalate no-critical or non-major incidents if unable to solve
· Follow all relevant I Incident Management Process steps
· Ensure KSOC is always staffed during required hours
· Suggest improvements on our products and report needs to Service Manager or main office
· Participate in daily handovers with Norway, India, Singapore and USA.
· Attend necessary training both domestic and abroad.
