About your role and responsibilities

As an Intermediate Frontend Engineer you will help us build new digital ventures from scratch that people love and use.

Your tasks & responsibilities:

Develop new user-facing features
Build reusable code and libraries for future use
Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end
Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders, such as our Frontend & Backend Engineers, DevOps Engineers and Product
Managers to design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code across all of our projects
Help us further improve our Software Engineering practices and tooling, and automate reasonably many things to make us more efficient
Refine technical standards and propagate them into the software engineering teams
About you

Written and verbal fluency in English is a must
2+ years of experience with modern JavaScript/ES6/TypeScript
2+ years of experience in building front-end solutions
Good understanding of ReactJS and Redux
Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3
Understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS
Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks
Understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
Understanding of Webpack, TypeScript, Karma, Jasmin, Detox, NPM, Yarn
Understanding of tools like GitHub and JIRA
Bonus points if you have:

Had experience in building mobile applications with React Native is a plus
Had experience with NextJS, Gatsby or similar
Experience working outside of the traditional boundaries of a frontend engineering role and find ideal solutions for UX, operations, speed of delivery and security
Learned an additional, mature programming language
Have contributed to open source projects
