Our client is a famous chemical multinational company. They have more than 17.000 employees, operates in more than 80 countries with more than 200 site globally. They are currently looking for a Global Sharepoint Service Manager.

The Global Sharepoint Service Manager is responsible for mapping the 3 year strategic direction for the SharePoint solutions, gaining buy-in from stakeholders and defining and executing projects using Prince2 project management which support the agreed roadmap. He/she manages the day-to-day activities for the SharePoint suite and provides 3rd level support within the ITIL framework (Incident, Problem, Known Error & Change Management).

You will be responsible for proactively increasing end-user productivity and reducing waste through technology and process improvements. He/she is also responsible for actively managing the technical life-cycle of the SharePoint suite (updates, fixes, major upgrades, etc.) and ensuring the interoperability of SharePoint within the enterprise architecture (interfaces with other server applications, operating system changes, Active Directory incl. Claim-based authentication methods (ADFS), Mobile devices or integration with Microsoft client applications).
