• Oversee and conduct safety assessments and risk analyses
• Develop safety concepts and strategies
• Ensure compliance with national and international safety regulations
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to implement safety systems
• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections
• Provide training and guidance on safety procedures
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of safety processes
• Reports in a direct line to the Corporate EHS Director for EMEAA

A successful Functional Safety Engineer should have:

• Relevant educational qualifications in Engineering
• Proven experience in a similar role within the industrial/manufacturing sector
• Experience in performing Risk Assessment/ PHA
• 3 years experience in a similar role
• TUV Certified in Functional Safety (Safety Instrumented Systems, HW/SW Design acc. to IEC 61508, Functional Safety of Machinery)
• Professional knowledge in English
