WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
As TUI DX data manager you will be accountable for developing a data strategy for the organization in close collaboration with key stakeholders as well as to translate it into an implementation roadmap. You will set-up a data management and govern and steward data usage and quality to meet business needs. In particular, you will enable data-led decision making and optimizing of internal efficiencies as well as develop and deliver contemporary and data-inspired guest service. Further, you will advance and provide data driven sales approaches and features centered around but not limited to personalization, self-service, omni-channel and AI.
Together with colleagues in IT and Process Management, you will create solutions that enhance the organisation’s ability to generate and use high-quality, actionable data. You will be responsible for identifying and evaluating data-driven business opportunities and contribute significantly to driving our digital acceleration strategy and influence broader change across the organization.
You will bring forward and lead projects to support the data needs of a variety of internal customers as well as our external guests and act as an ambassador and subject-matter expert for data-related topics in TUI DX.
Furthermore, you will liaise closely with the Data Protection Officer to ensure compliance to data protections laws (incl. EU GDPR). This will include representing TUI DS in any data related Group initiatives and bodies and liaise closely with any relevant stakeholders and functions in the Group to maximize exchange and use of data as well as data consistency across the Group.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
University degree in a related field
Minimum 5 years’ experience in data strategy, management or related functions
Extensive working knowledge of data analytics applications, data management techniques and CRM
Technically aware – feeling comfortable in using and talking about technology with IT partners
Data savvy – experience of identifying & influencing a consumer across channels based on behaviour
Analytical skills to create robust analysis and meaningful insights in order to drive actions and highlight opportunities combined with the ability to deliver
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with multiple stakeholders to build strong working relationships and get buy in from a matrix organization as well as to ensure teamwork
Someone with a proactive approach who can drive online impact and engagement whilst inspiring others
Innovative, strategic and creative thinker who is comfortable challenging status quo
Someone able to bring creativity to problem-solving through the use of innovative frameworks and technological solutions
Business acumen with a macro level mindset and an eye for guest needs
Excellent language skills, verbal and written, in English. Any additional language advantageous
