Main Assignments:

• Drive the implementation of Talend EAI platform and the integration´s roadmap with the rest of the systems and applications.
• Gather IT requirements in conjunction with business requirements and drive their prioritization.
• Take existing processes and applications to the next level, establishing standardized processes and performance monitoring tools across the organization.
• Define integration architectures based on Talend platform components.
• Work with team to create and influence proper standards for development, governance and operational lifecycle.
• Participate in the continuous improvement of Talend & cloud integration operations and delivery.
• Perform fit/gap analysis of requirements gathered, and support the Global Head of CRM & Data Strategy in the estimation efforts for their implementation.
• Create functional and technical specifications for the build of the IT solutions.
• Support IT and business users by providing solution expertise and guidelines along the project lifecycle, from analysis of requirements until the deployment and go live.
• Coordinate with other teams in the integration of systems and applications.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.

Data Architect - Talend|International Company - Chemical Manufacturing

The Data Architect must be a senior professional with a track record of competency in the field of Talend Platform, including at least 5 years of experience as a Data Architect, Product Owner or similar position.
• Experience in large and global-scale consulting firms, and/or Industrial and/or Chemical companies.
• Prior people management experience with direct supervision and in a project mode.
• Proficient Talend skills proven in multiple projects participation (minimum 5 years of professional experience, including international roll-outs).
• Integrate and actively participate in technological consulting projects involving interoperability between different information systems and with coordination and operational supervision of teams.
• Design and develop integrations between business systems using Talend technology.
• Solid experience in the development of ETL processes - advanced level with Talend Data Integration.
• Experience with Talend Data Stewardship, Talend Data Preparation, capable of developing the corresponding Talend Jobs to automate these processes.
• Experience with On-Prem and/or Cloud Databases- SQL Server, Oracle, Azure SQL Database, Amazon RDS, Salesforce.
• Good knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs (Salesforce, SAP...).
• Experience with programming languages (preferably Java, desirable in others such as C#, JavaScript...).
• Strong environment knowledge in terms of IT architecture in the company.
• Experience in program delivery methodologies both Waterfall and Agile.



Required:

• Master degree from an accredited institution, with degree preferred in Computer Science or Information Technology systems security, or similar field (advanced degree preferred).

• Talend certifications.
• PM Certifications (PMP, Prince2…).
• Certified Scrum master, or other Agile certifications.
