We are looking for a Co-founder and Head of Sales for joining our startup!
Peapool App is a Barcelona based start-up that is transforming the way people discover places’ activity in real time, enabling anyone to see what is happening anywhere and giving them the chance of joining.
The ideal candidate is a strong strategic thinker, great people manager, process-oriented, empathetic, data-driven and a self-starter with experience in start-up environments. This role will work closely with Product, Marketing and Support teams.
This is a role central to our organization, it’s part of the Management team and reports directly into the CPO and CEO.
You will be responsible of:
• Develop plans and strategies for developing business and achieving the company’s sales goals
• Create a culture of success and ongoing business and goal achievement
• Manage the sales teams, operations and resources to deliver profitable growth
• Hire and develop sales staff
• Define sales processes that drive desired sales outcomes and identify improvements where and when required
• Put in place infrastructure and systems to support the success of the sales function
• Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting
• Work closely with the marketing function to establish successful support, channel and partner programs
• Work closely with the Customer Success/Support teams to ensure an outstanding post-sale experience
• Manage key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities
What you´ll need:
• A minimum of 5 years work experience in a sales leadership role within a B2B sales environment
• Deep Hospitality/Vacation-Rental/Travel/ industry expertise
• Strong leadership and experience in hiring, coaching and fast scaling a sales team
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English/Spanish/Catalan
• Desire to take initiative and thrive on change
• Ability to shift from strategic thinking to rolling up your sleeves and supporting implementation.
• Highly curiosity and a quick learning who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced collaborative environment.
• Strong references from former employers and business partners; passion for building relationships
