Multinational company (end client) is looking a Cloud Technical Service Manager (Madrid)

You will be working on the latest platform technology within a demanding global multi-cloud hybrid environment.
The Technical Services Manager shall perform the role of day to day cloud services administrator and project manager working within the Platform team and with the Cloud Suppliers & Platform operators.

Reporting into the head of the Platform team, the Technical Service Manager is an owner and driver of technical & service processes, performance, automation, standard operational procedures and templates.

Working in tandem with our Service, Platform team & Business stakeholders to provide high levels of operational performance & service delivery

Identify and implement the most optimal cloud-based solutions for the company.
Planning, designing and developing cloud-based applications.
Managing cloud environments in accordance with company operational and security guidelines.
Deploying and debugging cloud initiatives as needed in accordance with best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
Educating teams on the implementation of new cloud-based initiatives, providing associated training as required.
Employing exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to see and solve issues before they snowball into problems.
Using your extensive knowledge of APIs to design RESTful services, and integrate them with existing data providers, using JSON or XML as needed.
Provide resource deployment at server level including provisioning virtual servers, virtual networks, load balancers, VPNs and application gateways.
Manage, administer and monitor storages including Azure File Sync, SQL databases, and data warehouses.
Manage, administer and maintain Azure AD domain services at forest level.
Administer and monitor backup services in multiple geolocations.
Plan, deploy, administer and troubleshoot AKS clusters including ARM templates and/or Terraform provisioning.
Building and designing web services in the cloud, along with implementing the set-up of geographically redundant services.
Implement & contribute to a highly automated best-practice environment
Have strong foundations to deploy and administer GIT/TFVC services including Azure Pipelines, Link GIT commits and PRs to Azure Boards work items ensuring to hold deployments until gates succeed consistently.
Contract & Financial management
Orchestrating and automating cloud-based platforms throughout the company.
Stay current with industry trends, making recommendations as needed to help the company excel.

Requirements:
Microsoft Azure Certified
Experience with SOA applications and cloud-based services, preferably within Microsoft Azure.
Experience working with Microsoft Azure, Windows, Linux/UNIX and Containers (i.e. AKS).
Three to five years´ experience in a 3rd level Cloud Technical support or Engineer role or related position including strong management of Cloud Service Providers and 3rd party Operators
Knowledge of web services, API, REST and RPC.
Strong awareness of networking and internet protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, HTTP/HTTPS and distributed networks.
Database experience, including knowledge of SQL and NoSQL, and related data stores.
Excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to stay focused on completing tasks and meeting goals within a busy workspace.
ITIL & Project qualified to be able to identify & continuously evolve the ‘bigger´ service picture
Skilled at working in tandem with a team of engineers, or alone as required.
Deliver, set priorities, and track the status of work, code defects, and customer issues
