• Third line support involving triage/ prioritisation/ analysis/ diagnosis/ investigation and resolution of technical issues relating to BI and Analytics Services
• Collaborate with internal and external support and development teams to resolve issues effectively
• Close liaison with end users including shadowing their screen to understand their issue in detail and resolve them as soon as possible
• Proactive assessment and improvement of data platform design, processes and code
• Ongoing analysis of the Data Platform to reduce costs, improve performance and enhance features
• Keeping customers updated concerning their tickets
• Escalating or reassigning tickets appropriately and with enough information for work on it to progress
• Research and implement workarounds where necessary
• Create and update articles in the knowledge base relating to supported systems, processes and work arounds
• Provide technical training and guidance to Junior members of the team.

Skills and Experience:
• Full stack cloud BI technical knowledge or equivalent in a related field with a strong desire and capacity to learn
• Experieince working in an agile environment
• Knowledge and experience of different source control methodologies
• Experience of working in ITIL-aligned environments, particularly change/incident/problem/knowledge management
• Experience of working with external vendors to troubleshoot and resolve incidents/problems as well as organising and participating in a continual service review process
• Enthusiastic and flexible to adapt to changing demands in the nature of the workload individually and in the team
• Reliable and responsible attitude and understanding of the importance of the job
• Direct experience of working in a global team and proven ability to address issues and challenges associated with global working, varied time zones and geographical distance
• Self-motivated and able to operate within a team environment to deliver a professional support service
• Outstanding customer service focus
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and confidently to all levels of user within the organization
• Business level English language
Essential Experience:
• Experience working previously in an 3rd line technical support or development role preferably supporting BI or data applications
Highly Desirable Experience
• Experience with ITSM tools and processes
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud BI technology including Data Factory v2, Databricks, Azure Analysis Services and Power BI
• T-SQL, DAX, Python, PowerShell
• Understanding of Active Directory
• Experience of Salesforce or NetSuite
• Knowledge of finance applications and processes
• Understanding of source code management methodologies in particular using MS DevOps.
Desireble Experience
• ITIL Foundation Certification
• On Premise BI Solutions including SSRS, SSIS, SSAS, Cognos, Crystal
• U-SQL, Data Lake Analytics, Data Factory v1
