IC3 is a newly established climate institution settled by the Government of Catalunya and the University of Barcelona, aiming at understanding future climate change and the dynamics and theory underlying those changes. It has also as main interests the accurate simulation of the interplay between climate and the biosphere and its feedbacks and the development of seasonal-to-decadal predictability capacities. IC3 will focus on the Mediterranean regions, tropical Africa, South America and SE Asia.
