For over 20 years, him gmbh has grown and developed with qcare into one of the leading providers of clinical information systems also known as patient data management system (pdms) in europe. With the headquarters in bad homburg germany, supported by the r&d development and support team in our him be (c3) office belgium, him gmbh has provided pdms solutions to over 40 hospitals including 7 university hospital institutes. These include germany, belgium, austria, switzerland, france, romania and netherlands. Him software spain was founded in 2018 as a subsidiary of him gmbh in order to expand our r&d capacity. Currently we develop and maintain the qcare anaesthesia module, a clinical documentation system for anaesthetic care mainly used in operating theatres, along with related configuration and reporting tools. In cooperation with the technical university of munich we are also designing a new premedication tool (pre-operative assessment) incorporating the medical guidelines of the european society of anaesthesiology to create a decision support module intended to improve patient health and safety while reducing unnecessary clinical tests.
