• Typically requires BS, CS, or University degree equivalent plus 6-8 years experience in network engineering or telecommunications support environment
• CCIE certification (desisable) • Expert level knowledge in TWO of the following and strong knowledge in all other areas of: IP internetworking, IBM internetworking, LAN Switching, ATM Voice technologies, IP Telephony, SAN, CDN, Optical, Wireless, IPCC. WAN protocols (Frame Relay, ISDN), IP Routing protocols (IGRP, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP) • Expert level internetworking troubleshooting in a large-scale network environment • Undertake support as designated Advanced Services engineer for large-scale networks • Must possess strong technical account management skills • Minimum 1 year of experience in Advanced Services or high-level support • Large-scale network design skills • Advanced Services.In-depth knowledge of network management, network availability capacity planning • The ideal candidate is a creative problem solver, comfortable with challenging the status quo and rapidly responding to escalated issues. With a seasoned mix of broad networking knowledge and specific area expertise, as well as excellent Customer Relationship Management (CRM) skills, you´re well positioned to become a trusted advisor capable of building solid, long-term relationships with customers • Fluent Spanish and English essential. |

• Develop network designs in alignment with standards and roadmaps.
• Participate in strategic network planning • Contribute to design forums and enterprise network architecture reviews • Perform impact analysis for changed/new technologies on the network • Prepare the network for required changes (setup, testing, certification, deployment) • Determine network implementation approach • Create and maintain network documentation • Monitor the internal network and Cisco Partner connections -availability and performance • Optimize the network • Manage incidents and cases related to the network – including on-call rotations • Provide consulting on Cisco’s internal network design, implementation, and management. • Work with Cisco product Business Units to incorporate Cisco experience in product lifecycles • Showcase Cisco-on-Cisco best practice and Executive Customer Briefings • Coach and mentor peers and teammates |
