Agile Leader

Supporting the Board of Telefonica I+D in the process of evangelization of these practices with a dual role of implementing practices to improve the management of equipment, based on SCRUM, as new SW development practices (eg XP) and also encourage the practice of other operators Agile Group.
Act as an evangelist for Agile methodologies (Scrum or XP).
Identify opportunities for improvement within our delivery processes (software and otherwise) across the organization
Advocate changes, both radical and routine, to management and executives
Mentor and coach teams on practices and principles ranging from story gatherings to more effective retrospectives with the goal of producing more intense collaboration
Will have responsibility to establish key performance indicators around Agile effectiveness and operationalize the measurement with reporting.

Guided an organization’s shift away from a not-so-Agile process
10+ years of experience in software development, program management, and people management
5+ years of experience in agile software development (XP, Scrum, Kanban)
Strong technical background in software design and development
Communication. Proactive communicator. Can easily build credibility and trust across a wide range of people. Comfortable having difficult discussions. Great coach and mentor.
Strategic. Looks forward to the future, though able to balance the ideals of tomorrow with the realities of today. Business focused; able to empathise with leaders and win their trust.
Practical applied experience in software product lifecycle management
Proven track record of facilitating mapping of complex business requirements to well formed user stories/use case and tasks
Proven track record of effectively building and running distributed Scrum teams that make up a enterprise class products.
Certifications as Product Owner, Scrum Master, Scrum Practitioner preferred, Scrum Trainer/Coach.
