Senior Software Engineer

Qualifications

Education:
Required: Bachelor’s degree with at least five years’ experience. Preferred: Master’s degree with at least three year of experience

Experience:
- Experience with commercial enterprise software development; server-side Java applications, high-availability applications and network design, Web-based applications using Oracle databases in a Linux environment
- Strong experience with multi-threaded core Java application development and deployment
- Experience with external third party system integration using Web services
- Experience with DSL equipment management interfaces such as Net-SNMP, CLI and TL1.
- Experience with SQL and data modeling
- Experience developing network or telecom management systems very desirable
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Spanish and English is a must; experience leading and coaching teams in remote offices very desirable
- Experience with project tools like Maven or Ant desirable
