Descripción: Network/Security Engineer within the team in charge of Client network operation. Main Duties / Key Accountabilities Incident resolution: • Fix complex issues (Level 3) • Put in place mock-ups to troubleshoot complex issues • Attend crisis cell as an expert • Communicate with the Supervision group on the progress of the resolution • Coordination with working groups from other countries Configuration of network/security devices • Configure Layer 2 network devices (standard & specific configurations) • Configure Layer 3 network devices (standard & specific configurations) • Configure Security Devices (Firewalls, Radius, Probes, Proxy, VPN SSL gateway, etc) (standard & specific configurations) • Coordination with working groups from other countries Request Management • Manage mini project in accordance with the request management process • Complete network & security audits using client standard tools (Sniffer &Opnet) including application performance analysis to resolve incidents or to study impact of the new application before the Entry to the Service (latency, bandwidth, TCP turn,...) • Coordination with working groups from other countries Change Management • Prepare network & security changes (Change Plan Definition, Operational procedure definition or update) • Perform network & security changes during out of business hours • Coordination with working groups from other countries Complete some supervision activities if need be • Network monitoring, • Incident management using Client’ trouble ticket tool, • Inform Client in case of Major issue • Complete Day to Day requests Duty intervention • Be required to work outside the traditional work schedule. • Be called out to work off-shift in emergency situations.
